What You Are Watching
During the colonic, the body can release in waves. In this close-up, fecal material can be seen moving through the enclosed elimination tubing as the session continues.
The client remains on the treatment table while the release travels through the closed system. There is no need to get up and use the toilet each time the body releases.
Why One Release Can Look Different From Another
One release may contain recognizable stool. Another may contain more water, visible gas movement, or less-formed material. What is visible can change in amount, shape, color, consistency, and overall appearance from one release to another.
What this video does not prove
Iowa Colonics can describe what released material looks like. Appearance alone cannot tell us exactly what something is made of, how long it has been inside the body, or whether it represents a toxin, parasite, disease, or diagnosis.

What Is the Viewing Tube?
The illuminated viewing tube is part of the APS-100 equipment. Water and released material move through the system, and this clear section allows part of that release path to be observed.
What Can You See?
You can see water and fecal material moving through the illuminated tube. The amount and appearance can change as the session progresses.
Do I Have to Watch?
No. The viewing tube is there if you want to observe what your body releases. You can choose not to look at it at all.
Is It Diagnostic?
No. What appears in the tube cannot by itself identify a disease, toxin, parasite, age of material, or medical condition.
How the Release Stays Contained
At Iowa Colonics, the Aquanet APS-100 is used in a practitioner-guided closed setup. Water enters gradually, your body releases, and water plus released material leave through enclosed tubing while you remain on the treatment table.
- Warm Filtered Water Enters Gradually. Joanna controls the water flow and pace throughout the session.
- Your Body Fills and Releases. Fullness, pressure, movement, gas shifting, and the urge to release can change during the colonic.
- Released Material Leaves Through Enclosed Tubing. Water, poop, gas, and other released material travel through the closed system.
Will My Colonic Look Like These Videos?
Maybe. Maybe not.
These videos show two real examples from Iowa Colonics. They do not show what every client or every appointment will look like.
One colonic may produce repeated visible releases. Another may be quieter. One fill may produce very little and a later fill may release substantially more. What comes through the tubing can change throughout the appointment.

During an actual appointment at Iowa Colonics, you change privately, remain covered during the colonic, and have access to a private bathroom and changing area before and after the session.

How to Prepare for a Colonic
Eat and drink normally earlier in the day. Then do not eat solid food or drink anything for 2 hours before your required arrival time. Arrive 15 minutes early and empty your bladder immediately before the colonic begins.

What Happens During the Whole Appointment?
The videos show parts of what moves through the equipment. The full visit also includes arriving early, talking privately with Joanna, changing, seeing the equipment and new unopened single-use client kit, the 45-to-60-minute colonic, and private bathroom time afterward.

Are these real colonic videos?
Yes. Both videos on this page are original Iowa Colonics footage recorded from the closed-system equipment used at the Fairfield, Iowa practice.
Is the brown material in the videos poop?
The footage visibly shows fecal material moving through the tubing along with water during the colonic. Iowa Colonics does not use appearance alone to make conclusions about its exact age, composition, or medical meaning.
Can I see what comes out during my own colonic?
Yes, if you want to. The APS-100 has an illuminated viewing section that allows you to observe part of the release path. You do not have to watch it.
Is a closed-system colonic messy?
Released material travels through enclosed tubing while you remain on the treatment table. You do not have to touch or manage what is moving through the system.
How long does a colonic last?
The colonic itself normally lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. Plan approximately 90 minutes total at Iowa Colonics.
