Private, Covered, and You Do Not Handle What Comes Out.
Your colonic takes place in a private treatment room. You have a private changing area with its own bathroom and remain covered during your colonic.
A new single-use client kit is used for every appointment.
Iowa Colonics uses the APS-100 closed system. When your body releases, water, poop and gas travel through enclosed tubing and remain contained inside the system.
You do not handle what comes out.
Joanna personally performs every colonic. She operates the equipment and stays with you throughout the session.
You can tell Joanna if you want less water, need to release, want to pause or want to stop.
A Colonic Adds Water Where Straining Cannot.
If the poop you are trying to pass is hard and dry, sitting on the toilet and pushing harder does not add water to it.
During colon hydrotherapy, warm, filtered water gradually enters your colon. Harder, drier stool can absorb that water and begin to soften.
The session moves through repeated fills and releases. When your body is ready to release, the water and poop leave through enclosed tubing. Gas can release through the closed system too.
There is no suction pulling poop out of your body. Nothing is forcibly pulled out.
The water helps soften harder, drier stool. Your body does the releasing.
